Poster Submission

COMPASS 2019 will have a Posters track for preliminary projects or late-breaking results.  The poster session at the conference will give presenters a chance to display their work and discuss it with conference attendees.  

Mentorship for Poster presenters

A mentorship program will be available to allow poster presenters to get additional feedback from senior researchers in the field.   Posters will not be archival and are intended to allow presenters to share their latest results or get early feedback on projects.

Poster Submission

Poster submissions will be limited to 2 pages plus references.  The poster submission deadline is May 15, 2019. Posters can be submitted at

Travel support

To promote attendance from African researchers, travel support will be available.  Travel funds can be applied for with the Poster Submission. To request the travel grant, make sure you click β€˜Yes’ under the Travel Grant section on your Poster submission page.

Important dates

  • May 15, 2019:  Submission of Posters (second round) due

  • May 30, 2019: Notification of Posters (second round) acceptances

  • June 15, 2019:  Camera-ready of Papers due

Poster Submission Template

The posters should be submitted using the ACM Proceedings New Master Template. The template is also available on the ACM Master Latex Download page. The two column paper format has to be followed for both papers and posters.
